Domaine des Chezeaux起源於1928年，由Mercier家族在Gevrey Chambertin成立，包含頂尖的Chambertin，也持有其他像是Griotte Chambertin, Clos Saint Denis, Les Charmes, Laveaux Saint Jacques, Les Cazetiers等優質的葡萄園。如今所持有的葡萄園都租給其他酒莊，如Chambertin, Clos St. Denis和57%的Griotte Chambertin就租給了Domaine Ponsot，餘下的葡萄園則由Domaine Berthaut in Fixin和Domaine Rene Leclerc租下。酒莊在1982年收購了兩個區塊Chambertin特級園，隨即便與Domaine Ponsot達成協議，這兩個區塊都交給他管理釀造葡萄酒，生產裝瓶後交付一部分給Domaine des Chezeaux貼標上市，餘下約一半到三分之二的酒則以Domaine Ponsot Chambertin出售，因此除了標籤品牌不同外，基本上Domaine Ponost和Domaine des Chezeaux是一樣的酒款。甚至在Domaine des Chezeaux 酒款的瓶底發現Domaine Ponsot的浮雕，較新的年份則有Laurent Ponsot的字樣。

Winehog葡萄酒作家Steen Ohman 也曾說過 “The Ponsot wines sold under the Domaine des Chezeaux label are normally quite a lot cheaper than the wines sold under the regular Ponsot label. This is a strange market imperfection as the wines presumably are identical. /以Domaine des Chezeaux 標籤裝瓶的 Ponsot 葡萄酒通常比Ponsot 自己標籤下裝瓶出售的葡萄酒便宜很多。這是其實是個有趣市場現象，因為這些葡萄酒其實是相同的。”
